Divyang Centre

 

ASHOK MODY SULABHA WORK CENTRE FOR DIVYANG

Sulabha Trust for Special Education and Research established the "Ashok Modi Sulabha Work Centre for Divyang" in September 2019.

The main purpose of the Centre is to help young adult Divyangs become self-reliant and  have a steady source of income.

At present, stitching of cloth bags is the main activity carried out at the centre. These bags are made as per orders received from Shopping Malls and Provision stores. The Centre is operational 5 days a week and the Divyangs are paid on 'per-bag' basis.

In future, the centre will try to add more activities as also increase the number of Divyangs working at the centre.
