45th ANNUAL Day 2024.
Sulabha Trust for Special Education & Research celebrated its 45th Annual Day in a grand way on Sunday 3rd March 2024 at Zaverben Popatlal Sabhagraha Ghatkopar East Mumbai
Sulabha Special School is an NGO dealing with intellectually disabled located at 8/3 Tilak Nagar, Amar Mahal, Chembur Mumbai. Started in 1979 with just 5 kids and one rented room, this school for Divyangjan, is now a 5 storied building with 130 students. Here the kids can start as early as 2 years of age and are trained with various life skills to make themselves independent.
The theme for the program was UNITY IN DIVERSITY. The oneness in the whole of INDIA while embracing the diversity was exhibited very well during the performance.
We had Munnabhai & Circuit take us on a tour of entire India right from north to south & east to west. What a lovely glimpse it was of our beautiful India
Breath taking performances by these special children made us forget that these are divyangjan or with intellectual disability.
The Chief Guest was Mr. Subramanian, Senior Vice President of DHL Express Ltd & Guests of Honor Were Mrs. Anjali Bhadbhade, Chief Financial Officer, DHL Express and Shri Pankaj Vishrani. President of Sulabha Trust for Special Education and Research Dr. Manilal Gada along with Trustees, other Managing Committee members, Donors, Guests, Parents and students were present in large numbers. More than 250 Guests captivated with the performance of divyangjans on Sunday morning
